What to do if you get an ERROR message when trying to buy with your card?

If you receive an error when trying to make a purchase on Bit2Me with your bank card, it's often due to insufficient funds, exceeded limits, or restrictions from your bank. This article will guide you to identify the cause and offer alternatives to complete your transaction.

The first thing you should do is check the following points:

  • You have sufficient funds in your bank account to complete the transaction.

  • You have not exceeded the usage limits of your bank card.

If it's not due to any of the above reasons, it may primarily be due to restrictions or configurations set by your bank or card provider.

You have three alternatives to continue with the transaction:

  1. Make a deposit via free bank transfer. To do this, follow the steps by clicking here.

  2. Use a credit card from a different bank

  3. Contact your bank or card issuer and explain the type of payment you are trying to make so they can provide a solution. Below is an example you can use to contact your bank.

Dear Customer Service Team,

I am writing to request assistance with an issue I encountered while trying to make a purchase with my debit/credit card. When attempting to process payment on the Bit2Me platform, I received an error message indicating that the transaction could not be processed.

I have verified that my card is enabled for online purchases and that I have sufficient funds to complete the transaction. However, it seems there may be a restriction or setting preventing the payment from being processed correctly.

Could you please check if there is any block or limitation on my card that is causing this problem? Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could provide me with information on how I can resolve this situation and successfully complete the transaction.

Sincerely,

Important: If your purchase has been approved by your bank but remains pending approval due to the need for card verification (an internal security and prevention protocol), always ensure that the request comes from our official platform or an email with the @bit2me.com domain. If you have any doubts, contact us by opening a ticket or emailing soporte@bit2me.com.
It's important to verify the origin of the request, as sensitive information may be required for card verification.
