A Testnet is an alternative to the original blockchain, which is used for testing purposes. The purpose of the Testnet is to be able to experiment, without having to use the actual cryptocurrency, perform transactions without risk and for free. In this way, before implementing new changes in the blockchain, testing is done in order to verify that everything works correctly.
