To make online purchases or link your Bit2Me Card to services like PayPal, Amazon, or Google Pay, you'll need three key pieces of information: your card number, expiration date, and CVV security code.
How to activate Push notifications for Card?
In addition to Pecunia SMS, you can now receive your verification codes via Push notifications: the 6-digit code appears directly on your screen, without relying on your operator. This is especially useful if you are abroad and cannot receive SMS messages.
Log in to your Bit2Me account and go to the Card section. You'll see a notification stating «Activate notifications to view your CVV and validate purchases».
Tap on the notification to reveal the button Activate notifications for Card.
Tap the button. You'll receive an SMS from Pecunia with a 6-digit code; enter it on screen to confirm activation.
Done! From now on, whenever you need to view your CVV or validate a purchase, the 6-digit code will appear directly as a Push notification on screen, instead of arriving via SMS.
- If you don't activate Push notifications, you will continue to receive your verification code via SMS from Pecunia, as usual.
How to view your CVV and expiration date?
From the app or web, for both your physical and virtual Bit2Me Card, simply follow these instructions:
Log in to your Bit2Me account and go to the Card section. Once there, select the card (physical or virtual) whose details you wish to view.
On your card image, tap the View details button. Doing so will reveal the full 16-digit number of your card.
Click the View CVV and expiration date button to begin.
First, you'll receive a 6-digit code via SMS from Pecunia, our card provider (or, if you have Push notifications activated, the code will appear directly on your screen). Enter this code to continue.
Next, the system will ask you to enter your personal secret code (the security code you created previously for online purchases).
Once the double verification is complete, the screen will display your Bit2Me Card's CVV and expiration date.
- Treat your CVV and expiration date with the same confidentiality as your PIN. Do not share them with anyone or write them down in insecure places. If you encounter any problems during the process, please don't hesitate to contact our Support team.
