Bit2Me Card features multiple security layers to ensure that only you can access sensitive information like viewing your 4-digit PIN.
How to activate Push notifications for Card?
In addition to SMS from Pecunia, you can now receive your verification codes via Push notifications: the 6-digit code appears directly on your screen, without relying on your mobile carrier. This is especially useful if you're abroad and can't receive SMS.
Log in to your Bit2Me account and go to the Card section. You'll see a notice: 'Activate notifications to view your CVV and validate purchases.'
Tap the notice to reveal the Activate Card notifications button.
Tap the button. You'll receive an SMS from Pecunia with a 6-digit code; enter it on the screen to confirm activation.
Done! From now on, whenever you need to view your CVV or validate a purchase, the 6-digit code will appear directly as a Push notification on your screen, instead of arriving via SMS.
- If you don't activate Push notifications, you'll continue to receive your verification code via SMS from Pecunia, as before.
Steps to view your PIN from the app and web
To view the 4-digit PIN for both your virtual and physical Bit2Me Card, just follow these instructions:
Log in to your Bit2Me account and go to the Card section. Once there, select the card (physical or virtual) whose PIN you wish to view.
On the visual image of your card, tap the Options button, which you'll find at the bottom of the card.
Click the View PIN button to begin.
First, you'll receive a 6-digit code via SMS from Pecunia, our card provider (or, if you have Push notifications activated, the code will appear directly on your screen). Enter this code to continue.
Next, the system will ask you to enter your personal secret code (the security code you created previously to make online purchases).
Once the double verification is complete, the screen will display your card's 4-digit PIN.
- Remember to memorize your PIN and never share it with anyone. If you encounter any issues during the process, please don't hesitate to contact our Support team.
