What are recurring buys?

Modified on Mon, 6 Jul at 11:37 AM

A recurring buy is a tool to schedule your regular buys periodically over time, allowing you to automatically average out your purchase price. With this tool, you can reduce market volatility, saving both time and effort.

You can schedule your buys periodically on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. This means the platform will execute buys daily, once a week, or once a month for the € amount you've specified, starting from the date you schedule the buy. Example:

You have €12,000 to buy Bitcoin on 01/01/2022, and you can choose between:
A single buy of €12,000 at once (instant buy):
Getting a purchase price of €44,000 (BTC's quoted price at that moment).
Buying €1,000 for 12 months on the 1st of each month (recurring buy):
Getting an average purchase price of €28,000 (average of all executed buys).

Additionally, when scheduling a recurring buy, you can select the option to deposit your buys directly into EARN. You won't need to monitor your buys or transfer the balance to Bit2Me's staking service for them to generate benefits from the very first minute.
