Wallet transaction fees: buys, sells, and exchanges

Modified on Tue, 1 Sep at 6:23 PM

At Bit2Me, we believe that transparency and clarity in communicating our fees can help you make better decisions and achieve optimal operations.

Below, we explain the limits, fees, and key concepts you should know when transacting, as well as tips to maximize your operations by reducing the fees you pay when using different buy, sell, and exchange options:

Operation fee

This is the fee Bit2Me charges for its exchange service, meaning for the conversion of any currency or fiat. This includes crypto-to-crypto, euro-to-crypto, or crypto-to-euro operations. The fee for this conversion will be applied in the payment currency and is independent of any additional operational or management costs.

Quotation price and spread

The quotation price includes a spread, which is the difference between the highest buy price and the lowest sell price of an asset within an exchange. It helps us guarantee an execution price for 10 seconds while the operation is being processed.

This is necessary due to the high volatility of the cryptocurrency market.

The maximum spread is 1.2% and depends on factors such as:

  • The currency you are trading.
  • The transaction volume.
  • Market volatility at the time of the transaction.

Check out the Bit2Me Academy article on what spread is to learn more.

Price update

When you get a currency quote, the price updates every 10 seconds.

After this time, the price may have gone up or down. Thanks to the spread, we guarantee a buy or sell price for those 10 seconds.
