Deleting a Bit2Me Card is a permanent and irreversible action. Once deleted, the card will be permanently disabled and cannot be reactivated under any circumstances.
Please make sure you truly want to delete it before continuing with the process.
Steps to delete your Bit2Me Card from the app or web
If you still wish to delete your card after considering the above, follow these steps:
Log in to your Bit2Me account and go to the Card section. Select the card (Physical or Virtual) you want to delete.
At the bottom of your card image, tap the Options button.
On the next screen, tap the Delete button.
First, you will receive a 6-digit code via SMS from Pecunia, our card provider (or, if you have push notifications enabled, the code will pop up directly on your screen). Enter this code to proceed.
Next, the system will prompt you to enter your personal digital key (secret code). This is the security code you set up to authorize online purchases.
To complete the process, tap the Delete button one last time. Your card will be deleted instantly and permanently.
- You cannot delete a Bit2Me Card that has pending transactions.
- Even after your Bit2Me Card is deleted, you can still view the transaction history for that card.
- If you do not enable push notifications, you will continue to receive your verification code via SMS from Pecunia as usual.
