How to import your portfolios from other brokers to Bit2Me

When a user holds assets (funds, stocks, or ETFs) with another broker or bank and wants to manage them through Bit2Me Invest, they can request a portfolio transfer.

1. What the user needs to provide

A signed transfer form sent to our Support Department via a ticket including:

Personal details: full name, NIF/Tax ID, and account number at the originating institution.
Details for each position to be transferred: ISIN, asset name, number of shares/units, market where the position is held, and average purchase price per share/unit.
Certificate of ownership for your account at the originating institution, signed, expressly authorizing the transfer of the indicated positions (or the entire portfolio).

Note: Some originating institutions require the client to first request the transfer by filling out a form on their platform. In such cases, the user must send us that form along with the reference number assigned by the originating institution.

2. How the process works (what happens after the request)

We verify that all assets can be received. It's possible that assets from certain markets may not be accepted or assets may be excluded from trading. If there are ineligible positions, the user is informed before any process begins. If approved, dates are agreed upon, and the transfer is initiated. Once counterparts confirm settlement, the positions are registered, and the user is informed that they are now available in their portfolio.

3. Timelines

The process is manual and depends on third parties: it usually takes several business days under normal conditions, although in some cases it may take longer depending on the originating institution.

There are special cases (depending on the originating and destination custodian) that can take up to 3-4 months due to additional documentation and authorization requirements.
