To facilitate the registration and access process for a Bit2Me account, there is the option to register with Google or Apple. This functionality speeds up the process, as your account is automatically linked to one of the emails you have registered in your device's Google or Apple account, thus copying what will be your access credentials.
If for any reason you wish to unlink your Bit2Me account from your Google or Apple account, you should follow these steps:
- Change the registered email in your Bit2Me account. To do this, you must have access to your account and follow the steps indicated in the following article: How to change my Bit2Me email?
- When trying to access your account with the new email, you will need to set a password. To do this, click on the link you will see on the login screen "Forgot your password?", and enter the new email.
- Check the inbox of the new email you have registered and in the email you will have received to change the password, enter a new one.
Once the password is changed, your account will be completely unlinked from Google or Apple, and you will be able to access your Bit2Me account with the configured credentials.
| Important: If you do not have access to your Bit2Me account to make the email change, contact the support department by sending us your request: Open ticket. |
