To register and set up your business, you need to provide a series of documents to verify your business account. The required documentation may depend on the company's country of tax residence.
- Companies with tax residence in Spain.

Companies with tax residence in Spain
Basic documents:
- Copy of the company's founding deeds.
- Copy of the company's ownership certificate.
Alternative: Registry certificate issued by the Commercial Registry showing the company's shareholding structure. - Economic capacity document.
This must allow for verification of the origin of the funds intended for operations. The following tax forms are accepted:- Form 200
- Form 390
- Form 303
Alternative: Contracts signed with clients and invoices for services rendered, loan agreement, and/or capital increase deed.
Any of the aforementioned documents must be accompanied by proof demonstrating that the company is the beneficiary of the funds. |
- Proof of address: Recent bill (maximum 6 months old) for a service contracted by the company, such as water, electricity, internet, etc., or Tax Identification Card.
- Identification document for partners and directors: Copy of the ID card (DNI) or Passport of all partners with more than 25% participation in the company and of the director who will act as the account holder. Documents must be double-sided and in color. They must be fully visible, without any hidden text or data.
Additional documentation (if the entity is an obligated subject):
- SEPBLAC registration: Proof of your company's registration with the Executive Service of the Commission for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Monetary Offences (SEPBLAC).
- Appointment of a representative before SEPBLAC: Document formally designating the company's representative before SEPBLAC.
- Compliance Officer's name: Identification of the person responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance within the company (Compliance Officer).
- Anti-Money Laundering Policy: Copy of the document detailing the policies and procedures implemented for the prevention of money laundering, including:
- Customer identification and verification processes (KYC - Know Your Customer).
- Transaction monitoring and supervision.
- Contract or invoices for the KYC and KYT tools used.
- Latest external audit report: Copy of the most recent external audit report.
- Risk Analysis Document: Document that assesses and details the risks associated with the company's operations and the measures implemented to mitigate them.
- Registration as a virtual currency to fiat currency exchange service provider (if applicable): If your company is registered as such, please provide evidence of this registration.
- LEI Code (Legal Entity Identifier): If the company participates in regulated financial market operations (e.g., trading in securities or derivatives), it must provide its current LEI code, in accordance with ISO 17442, as required by regulations such as MiFID II. Please note that although the code is permanent, it requires annual validation and renewal of the entity's data. It can be requested and managed through authorized official platforms, such as the LEI Web Portal of the Association of Registrars in Spain.
Companies with tax residence in Spanish-speaking countries
Countries included: Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Guatemala, Ecuador, Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Honduras, El Salvador, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Panama, Puerto Rico, and Uruguay.
Basic documents:
- Copy of the company's founding deeds.
- Economic capacity document: Entity's annual accounts and tax form from the previous year.
Alternative: Contracts signed with clients and invoices for services rendered, loan agreement, and/or capital increase deed.
- Newly established company (less than 8 months since incorporation), and depending on the volume of its first operation, the company's share capital may be considered valid.
- Holding company: Partners' income tax declaration.
- For NGOs, the following will be accepted:
- Informative declaration.
- Donations, gifts, and contributions received.
Any of the aforementioned documents must be accompanied by proof demonstrating that the company is the beneficiary of the funds.
- Proof of address: Recent bill from the last 6 months (water, electricity, internet, or any service contracted by the company).
- Identification document for partners and directors: Copy of the ID card (DNI) or Passport of all partners with more than 25% participation in the company and of the director who will act as the account holder. Documents must be double-sided and in color. They must be fully visible, without any hidden text or data.

- Photo identification: A clear, color copy of the passport, showing both sides of the document, must be submitted:
- Passport of any shareholder owning more than 25% of the company's shares.
- Passport of the company director opening the business account on Bit2Me.
- Any authorized signatory.
Additional documents (if the entity is an obligated subject):
- Registration with the principal anti-money laundering authority: Proof of registration with the principal anti-money laundering (AML) authority in the company's country of incorporation.
- Appointment of the AML representative: Documentation confirming the appointment of a representative responsible for AML compliance with the principal AML authority in the company's country of incorporation.
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy: A complete copy of the company's AML policy, including:
- KYC (Know Your Clients) verification procedures.
- KYT (Know Your Transaction) monitoring and control mechanisms and procedures.
- Compliance Officer information: Full name and details of the Compliance Officer designated by the company.
- Latest external audit report: A copy of the most recent external audit report related to AML compliance.
- Registration as a virtual asset service provider (VASP) if applicable: If the company is registered as a VASP, provide proof of such registration.
- KYC and KYT tools documentation: Copies of contracts or invoices for the KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYT (Know Your Transaction) tools used by the company to ensure AML compliance.
- LEI Code (Legal Entity Identifier): If the company participates in regulated financial market operations (e.g., trading in securities or derivatives), it must provide its current LEI code, in accordance with ISO 17442. The code is permanent but requires annual validation and renewal of the entity's data, and must be processed through an authorized issuing entity in its jurisdiction.
