By following these options, your verification codes will always be within reach:
Recover the code synchronized in the cloud
To recover the code synchronized in your Google Account's cloud:
- From the device where you want to recover the 2FA, download the Google Authenticator application for Android or iOS.
- Open and log in with the same Google account you used to synchronize the codes on your previous device.
- When you access your Google account, your verification codes will automatically synchronize and appear in the application.
Transfer code from one device to another.
If you use a GOOGLE account and want to transfer the Code from an old device to a new one, you will need to transfer your Google Authenticator accounts from one mobile to another:
- On your old phone:
- Open Google Authenticator.
- Go to Menu (⋮) > Transfer accounts > Export accounts.
- Select the accounts you want to move and a QR code will be generated.
- On your new phone:
- Open Google Authenticator.
- Go to Menu (⋮) > Transfer accounts > Import accounts.
- Scan the QR code from the old phone.
