What happens if the bank account holder does not match the Bit2Me user?

To deposit funds into Bit2Me by bank transfer, it is crucial that the source account is in your name. If you have made a transfer from an account with a different holder, this article explains the three options available to resolve the situation and ensure that your funds arrive correctly.

To make a deposit by bank transfer, it is essential that you have a bank account in your name and that deposits made to Bit2Me come from a bank account of which you are the holder. If you have made a transfer that does not comply with the ownership requirements, there are 3 options:

  • If it is a shared account: Send us the bank receipt or proof of payment showing the two names of the account holders to info@bit2me.com.
  • To return the money: You can request a refund. To do this, send us the transfer receipt you made to Bit2Me at info@bit2me.com.
  • The holder of the bank account can register on Bit2Me and the transfer will be deposited into their eurowallet.
