Does my Bit2Me Card have maintenance fees?
No, your Bit2Me Card, both in its virtual and physical versions, has no maintenance fees. You can keep it active without worrying about fixed monthly or annual costs.
Although there are no maintenance fees, it is important that you are aware of the only costs associated with the use and request of your card so that you have total transparency about how it works.
Costs associated with your Bit2Me Card
- The virtual card is completely free.
- If you request a physical card, a one-time payment applies for its issuance and shipping. The amount depends on your Space Center Level.
- International shipping: For physical card requests with a delivery address outside of Spain, an additional cost will apply to cover international shipping management.
Conversion Fee
- If your Bit2Me Card is linked to a Euro wallet and you pay with that balance, no transaction fee applies.
- If the card is linked to a cryptocurrency wallet, an instant conversion of your cryptos to Euros takes place when making a purchase. This operation has a small conversion fee.
You can find all the details about applicable costs and limits here.
How to change the phone number associated with my Bit2Me Card?
The phone number associated with your Bit2Me Card must always match that of your user profile.
If you have already changed the phone number in your Bit2Me profile, the next step is to request synchronization with the card.
To do this, you must send a request to support@bit2me.com (from the email associated with your account) stating that you need to apply the same change to your Bit2Me Card. Our team will handle it and confirm the update.
How many Bit2Me Cards can I have?
Currently, you can have a maximum of two active cards linked to your account: One physical card and one virtual card. We are working to increase the number of cards you can link to your account soon.
How many wallets can I link to my Bit2Me Card?
You can only link one wallet per Bit2Me Card.
If you wish to change the linked wallet, you can do so instantly and at no cost from the Bit2Me app or website, by accessing the Bit2Me Card options.
Why have I not received cashback when paying with Bit2Me Card?
There may be several reasons why you have not received cashback for a purchase.
The most common causes are:
- Excluded merchants: No cashback is generated for financial services, casinos, lotteries, or betting houses.
- Payment with Euros: If your Bit2Me Card is linked to the EUR wallet, 0% cashback applies, according to the Space Center level system.
- Monthly limit reached: You may have already reached the maximum monthly cashback limit allowed by your level in Space Center.
If none of these is your case, please, open a ticket with Support indicating the purchase ID or its details (date, amount, and merchant name) so we can review it.
What does it mean that my Cashback is pending?
You will receive your cashback as soon as the transaction is definitely approved by the merchant where you made the purchase.
It is common for some transactions to remain temporarily in a "held" status by the establishment for a few days. Once the merchant releases and confirms the operation, you will receive your cashback reward automatically.
Why can Bit2Me block or turn off my Bit2Me Card?
The security of your account is our top priority. Bit2Me may block or turn off a Bit2Me Card for various security reasons, including:
- Multiple failed attempts when requesting a PIN change.
- At your request, for example, if you have lost access to your app.
- Detection of other security risks that may compromise your funds.
How long does it take for the physical Bit2Me Card to arrive at my address?
Once requested, the estimated delivery times for your physical Bit2Me Card are as follows:
- In the peninsula (Spain): Shipping can take up to 15 business days.
- Outside the peninsula (including Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, and the rest of Europe): The delivery time can extend up to 3 weeks.
These times are an estimate and may vary slightly due to external factors, such as the local postal service or public holidays. We appreciate your patience during this period.
IMPORTANT! Remember that in cases of refunds, the purchase amount paid to the establishment in Euros will always be taken as a reference. Consequently, the refund of the same purchase amount equivalent in Euros will be made to the corresponding cryptocurrency wallet. |
