Does my Bit2Me Card have maintenance fees?
No, your Bit2Me Card, in both its virtual and physical versions, has no maintenance fees. You can keep it active without worrying about fixed monthly or annual costs.
Although there are no maintenance fees, it's important to be aware of the only costs associated with using and requesting your card so you have full transparency on how it works.
Costs associated with your Bit2Me Card
- The virtual card is completely free.
- If you request a physical card, a one-time payment applies for its issuance and shipping. The amount will depend on your Space Center Level.
- International shipping: For physical card requests with a delivery address outside of Spain, an additional cost will apply to cover the management of international shipping.
Conversion Fee
- If your Bit2Me Card is linked to a Euro wallet and you pay with that balance, no transaction fee is applied.
- If the card is linked to a cryptocurrency wallet, an instant conversion of your crypto to euros is performed when making a purchase. This operation incurs a small conversion fee.
You can find all the details about the applicable costs and limits here.
How to change the phone number associated with my Bit2Me Card?
The phone number associated with your Bit2Me Card must always match the one in your user profile.
If you have already changed the phone number in your Bit2Me profile, the next step is to request synchronization with the card.
To do this, you must send a request to soporte@bit2me.com (from the email associated with your account) stating that you need to apply the same change to your Bit2Me Card. Our team will process it and confirm the update.
How many Bit2Me Cards can I have?
Currently, you can have a maximum of two active cards linked to your account: One physical card and one virtual card. We are working to expand the number of cards you can link to your account soon.
How many wallets can I link to my Bit2Me Card?
You can only link one wallet per Bit2Me Card.
If you wish to change the linked wallet, you can do so instantly and at no cost from the Bit2Me app or website by accessing the Bit2Me Card options.
Why haven't I received cashback when paying with Bit2Me Card?
There can be several reasons why you haven't received cashback for a purchase.
The most common causes are:
- Excluded Merchants: Cashback is not generated on financial services, casinos, lotteries, or betting sites.
- Payment with Euros: If your Bit2Me Card is linked to your EUR wallet, a 0% cashback applies, according to the Space Center level system.
- Monthly Limit Reached: It's possible you have already reached the maximum monthly cashback limit allowed for your Space Center level.
If your case is none of the above, please, open a Support ticket indicating the purchase ID or its details (date, amount, and merchant name) so we can review it.
What does it mean if my Cashback is pending?
You will receive your cashback once the transaction is definitively approved by the merchant where you made the purchase.
It's common for some transactions to be temporarily "held" by the establishment for a few days. Once the merchant releases and confirms the operation, you will automatically receive your cashback reward.
Why might Bit2Me block or disable my Bit2Me Card?
The security of your account is our top priority. Bit2Me may block or disable a Bit2Me Card for various security reasons, including:
- Multiple failed attempts when requesting a PIN change.
- At your request, for example, if you have lost access to your app.
- Detection of other security risks that could compromise your funds.
How long does it take for the physical Bit2Me Card to arrive at my home?
Once requested, the estimated delivery times for your physical Bit2Me Card are as follows:
- Mainland Spain: Delivery can take up to 15 business days.
- Outside mainland Spain (including Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, and the rest of Europe): Delivery time can extend up to 3 weeks.
These times are estimates and may vary slightly due to external factors, such as local postal services or holidays. We appreciate your patience during this period.
IMPORTANT! Please remember that in cases of purchase refunds, the amount paid to the merchant in Euros will always be the reference. Consequently, the equivalent purchase amount in Euros will be refunded to the corresponding cryptocurrency wallet. When processing the refund, the cashback granted at the time of the original purchase will be automatically deducted. |
