How do I set up PIN or biometric access to access the APP?

If you want to maintain secure access to the Bit2Me mobile application you can set up a PIN code or biometric access by fingerprint or facial recognition. This way, every time you open the mobile app, your PIN, fingerprint or face recognition will be requested, so in case your phone is lost or stolen no access is possible.

To set it up, follow these steps:

  1. From the APP, open the drop-down menu by clicking on the 3 horizontal stripes in the upper left corner.

  2. Go to the Profile and settings section, the first option that will be highlighted with your full name.

  3. In the Profile and settings menu, in the Security section, you can activate your PIN or Biometric access:
    • In order to activate the access PIN you will be asked to enter a 6-digit code twice.

    • In order to activate the Biometric Access you need to have set a PIN previously.

  4. Once set, you will see the access PIN and biometric access button marked in green.

IMPORTANT: The PIN code or biometric access is only configured to access from mobile app on the same device you have set it up. If you log in from another device, you will be required: Email and password and the second authentication factor by SMS or additional 2FA set.
