Deleting a Bit2Me Card is a permanent and irreversible action. Once deleted, the card will become inoperative forever and cannot be reactivated under any circumstances.
Please make sure you truly wish to delete it before proceeding with the process.
Steps to delete your Bit2Me Card from the app or web
If, after considering the points above, you still wish to delete your card, here are the steps to follow:
Log in to your Bit2Me account and go to the Card section. Select the card (Physical or Virtual) you wish to delete.
At the bottom of your card image, tap the Options button.
On the next screen, select the Delete button.
First, you will receive a 6-digit code via SMS from Pecunia, our card provider (or, if you have Push notifications enabled, the code will appear directly on screen). Enter this code to continue.
Next, the system will ask you to enter your personal secret code (the security code you created previously for online purchases).
To complete the process, tap the Delete button one last time. Your card will be deleted instantly and permanently.
- A Bit2Me Card with pending transactions cannot be deleted.
- Even if your Bit2Me Card is deleted, you can still check the transactions you made with it.
- If you do not enable Push notifications, you will continue to receive your verification code via SMS from Pecunia, as before.
